This section is for all of the many random things that don't fit neatly into the other sections of the site.

I guess I can list some of the businesses I own and that sort of jibber jabber.  Not very interesting or entertaining, but still, a part of who I am and what I do.

• Dickens & Twain Ventures, LLC is a holding company I created in 2010 to own and oversee all of my diverse business ventures.
• Red Leaf Marketing Group is a company that provides marketing consulting services. We partner with our clients on an executive level and help them utilize marketing resources for the maximum return on their investment.  While Dickens & Twain Ventures is the engine of our companies, Red Leaf is the hub of our services with our clients.
• Silverleaf Software is a software and technology development company, most notable for its Silverleaf CMS web content management and online business tools suite. JeremyPireson.com and all of the websites for all of my companies and organizations run on and are powered by Silverleaf CMS.
• BlueSky Creative is an advertising agency and creative design firm.
• Glass Onion Media is a media production company (television and radio commercials, video production, music production, animation) whose first major production is a major motion picture (~$10M) to be shot in/around Houston and Austin and released in 2011.
• DEEPFOTO Photography & Design Studios is a photography and design company providing high-end photography and design services. Mostly I do photography with musicians, actors, models, and other entertainers, and whatever other self-indulgent manners of photography I select for myself. Most of the other photography work I hand over to other extremely talented photographers who have their own areas of passion and expertise.
• Silverleaf IT Services is a computer technology support company that provides installation, troubleshooting, support and staffing for desktops, servers, networks and communications systems.
• HoustonFilmmakers.com is an online community very slow in development, but is basically complimentary to Backbeat, with the exception being that it's for the local filmmaker and film enthusiast community.
• Backbeat (www.backbeat.us) is an organization that promotes all things musical, with an emphasis on helping connect musical artists and music lovers with one another.
• Puffaroni.com is a non-profit online community built specifically and exclusively to allow young girls to communicate and share with one another in a safe environment. It's a safer alternative to MySpace and Facebook.
• The K.C. Rogers Band is a honky-tonk country band that I created and in which I am the lead singer and primary songwriter. A major production feature-length movie about the fictitious "K.C. Rogers" character and the formation of the band is scheduled to be release in 2011.
• Catch-And-Release is a non-profit organization currently in its very early stages of formation that seeks to inform, educate, and enable human beings of all ages, sexes, races, religions, and socio-economic backgrounds be able to survive and succeed in their own lives with independent ideas and self-confidence. In essence, the program seeks to teach people how to learn and think for themselves, regardless of "intelligence", and doesn't just impose knowledge onto them.
